What is an ACCUPLACER Placement Examination?
Placement testing helps identify your academic your academic strengths and needs in math, English, and reading. What if English is not my first language?
At that place is a special ESL exam for students whose first language is not English. The ESL tests include Reading Skills, Sentence Meaning and Language Usage. Students must bring theirBanner Student ID number to the test session. Students will be also asked to prove anacceptable form of ID from the list beneath with the name and photo hands recognizable both before and after the test.

Placement Re-Testing Policy
Students wishing to register for courses beyond the Placement Test recommendation (ACCUPLACER) must become faculty approving from the Math and/or English language Section. The department may elect to administrate a local placement assessment. Kinesthesia may then recommend a placement in a course consistent with the local test results. Students who wish to further challenge the placement issue may request this from the department chairperson, or the Dean of Students in the absence of the section chair. Students are responsible for providing relevant details supporting their case for the waiver of placement. The Dean of Students may authorize re-testing with the ACCUPLACER. Retesting will be scheduled at a fourth dimension allotted by the placement coordinator, which will not displace first-fourth dimension test takers. Academic support strategies are arranged for students with diverse disabilities through the office of Student Disability Services.
